KARACHI, April 29; Three ships carrying containers, general cargo and to load naptha are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources. Berthing at the wharves was active where six vessels, Corin Thaikos, PONL Pahe, Golden Express, YM Faha, Tau He, to unload and load containers and Joviallty, to unload steel.

Sailing on the other hand was fairly active as eight ships, Asian Trader, Golden Express, YM Fortune, Hyundai Sprinter, Ju Bao Men, Banga Lank, Nur Yanbu and Adhidaya departed, whileTai He, Sinar Bontang and Wan Hai-262 are due to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling at the wharves was relatively slow as the total tonnage fell to 43,457 tons comprising 13,463 tons of export cargo including 2,372 tons of rice and 29,994 tons of import cargo.

The following ships are due on Saturday; Diamond Park, to load 10,500 tons of naptha, Kota Tabah, to unload and load containers and Leopard to load general cargo.
