KARACHI, April 23: Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim on Friday urged all sects to unite and follow the teachings of Islam, the holy prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) and the holy Quran to achieve the ultimate goal of eternal life. He was addressing participants of the main procession of Eid Miladun Nabi on Friday at M. A. Jinnah Road. He also visited the camps set up by the city government, Muttahida Qaumi Movement and Noorani Welfare Society on the road.

City Nazim Niamatullah Khan and Naib Nazim Tariq Hasan received the chief minister at the CDGK camp and apprised him of the arrangements it had made for the day.

Dr Arbab expressed his satisfaction over the arrangements and thanked Almighty Allah for the blessings due to which the Eid Milad was observed peacefully across the country, especially Sindh.

Sindh Home Minister Rauf Siddiqui, DCO Karachi Fazlur Rehman, CM’s Political Secretary Abdul Ghaffar Qureshi and senior police officials were accompanying the chief minister.

Later, Dr Arbab visited various parts of the metropolis and inspected the arrangements.
