KARACHI, April 21: Two tankers carrying chemicals and crude oil are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources. Meanwhile, berthing at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where seven ships, Sagamore, Cape Ferro, Hyundai Stride, and Y.M. Noon to unload and load containers, Iron Butterfly, to offload and load general cargo, Mercs Sajinda, to unload maize seeds, and Victoria-1 to load naphtha were berthed.

Sailing was also brisk as seven ships, Sagamore, Gao He, APL Jeddah, Iron Butterly, Rising One, Hua Shan and Johar departed, while Y.M Moon, Hyderabad, Corin Thaikos, Victoria-1 and Butet are due to sail out on Friday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where a total tonnage of 0.110m tons comprising 38,633 tons of export cargo including 8,088 tons of rice and 1,592 tons of cement and 70,908 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Friday: Yananseni, with 600 tons of chemicals and Shalamar, with 65,000 tons of crude oil.
