ISLAMABAD, April 19: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Tuesday hoped that the first phase of legal reforms approved by the cabinet recently would be a milestone in dispensation of quick and inexpensive justice to the common man. According to a press release issued here, the prime minister was talking to Federal Minister for Law and Justice Mohammad Wasi Zafar. He said the government would ensure protection of the rights of the weak and underprivileged sections of the society and continue to strive for upholding the rule of law in the country.

On the occasion, the federal minister informed the prime minister that the draft bill containing the package had been moved in the parliament where it would be debated before putting to the vote for approval.
