KARACHI, April 19: The JCR-VIS has assigned a medium- to long-term rating of double A minus with a stable outlook and a short-term rating of A one to the Bank of Punjab, says a press release. These ratings take into account the majority shareholding of the government of Punjab in the bank. “JCR-VIS believes that financial support will be available from major sponsors if required.”
