CHEATING: Use of unfair means is rampant in almost

all centres for SSC examina-tions under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Sukkur.

At many examination centres, teachers were found helping students.

At the Sukkur Government Girls’ High School centre where girl students of the St. Mary’s High School, Hira Public School and the Modern High School, Sukkur, were taking the examinations, invigilators allegedly helped students in cheating.

When contacted, the controller of examinations of the board, Prof Abdul Qayoom Bhatti, told Dawn that he was helpless and he could do nothing to stop cheating and use of other unfair means.

He advised parents of students to submit an application to the principal of the school who was responsible for the examination centre.

Meanwhile, many parents sent telegrams to the Sindh education minister, demanding action against teachers concerned.
