Nazim stresses quality education

RAWALPINDI, April 7: District Nazim Raja Tariq Kiani has said education is the only way to achieve progress and prosperity in the world. He was speaking as chief guest at a function organized in connection with the annual parents day at a local school. Mr Kiani said development of a country could be judged through its literacy rate, adding that all developed countries in the world had the highest education ratio.

He said Pakistan’s backwardness was mainly due to its low education rate. He stressed on improving education rate to achieve progress in other fields. He termed quality education and technical know-how equally important in this regard.

Mr Kiani said now people had become aware of the importance of education and were paying due attention to it.

This is the reason that alongwith government schools,

private institutions have also been registering increase in students.

He also stressed the importance of proper grooming and character-building of students.
