KARACHI, April 7: The University of Karachi is launching BSc (Honours) evening programme from the new academic session. This was announced by a KU spokesman on Thursday. He said that KU vice-chancellor Prof Dr Pirzada Qasim Raza Siddiqui had accorded approval to the new programme. It was further pointed out that the BSc Honours programme in the evening would commence from June 13.
In this programme, the students with chemistry as major subject will be allowed two subsidiary subjects.
Accordingly, for pre-medical students, the subjects will be microbiology and bio-stats while for pre-engineering students, the subjects will be mathematics and statistics.
