Rice prices
KARACHI, April 5: Pakistani rice prices came under pressure over the past week because of a lack of export orders, which were unlikely to pick up soon, dealers said on Tuesday. Weak export demand had also kept the pressure on prices in the domestic market, where Irri-6 varieties were quoted between Rs1,290 and Rs1,310 for a 100-kg bag, unchanged from the previous week.—Reuters
