KARACHI, April 5: Five ships carrying RBD palm olein, containers and crude oil are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Lalazar, to unload crude oil, Wise King, bulk carrier, Ibn Batouta and Caria to load cement and Nur Yanbu to offload chemicals were berthed after the departure of three.

The departing ships were led by Bunga Delima, Luo Qing and Pantanal, while Pontoklydon, Iran Kordestan, Gaga Mayang, Lalazar, Oranje, Thor Captain, Dong He, and Induruwa Valley are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Owing to larger handling of liquid cargo, the total tonnage rose to 0.101m tons comprising 28,329 tons of export cargo including 700 and 1,159 tons of rice and cement and 72,896 tons of import cargo.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: APL Dallan, Sinar Bontang, Hyundai Advance, with containers, Carolina-7 and Johar to unload palm olein and crude oil respectively.
