KARACHI, April 1: A 100-member Chinese youth delegation is scheduled to visit Karachi to see different places and hold meetings with the Sindh governor, chief minister and the provincial minister for youth affairs during their stay on April 2 and 3.
The delegation would be arriving here on late Friday night. The visit is part of a cultural exchange programme signed by both countries.
Led by Erkenjian Tulabong, the Vice-President of the All China Youth Federation, the delegation includes Ni Jian, Deputy Secretary General, Wu Wei, Deputy Director, International Department, Xiang Yang and Ms Liu Kai, programme officers of the organization, Ms Ye Feng, chief broadcaster for Urdu, China Radio International, and others.
The delegation would hold meetings with Youth Affairs Minister Qamar Mansoor at National Museum on Saturday. Later, they would meet Governor Ishratul Ibad and attend a dinner at the CM’s House.
Engagements of the delegation for Sunday include visit to the mausoleum of Quaid-i-Azam, Pakistan Steel Mills, and Clifton Beach.—PPI
