Sparkling knock by Sarfaraz

KARACHI, March 28: A sparkling unbeaten 75 by Sarfaraz Khan guided Habib Oil Mills (HOM) to score a comprehensive eight-wicket victory over BP Pakistan in the 2nd Abdul Quddoos Sheikh memorial Multinational cricket tournament played on Sunday at the PCB ground.

BP batting first posted a respectable 156 for eight wickets in their allotted overs mainly due to a brilliant undefeated 74 by opener Ulfat Rasool.

But his effort was neutralized by Sarfaraz as HOM in just 15.3 overs for the loss of two wickets.

Summarized scores:

HOM beat BP by eight wickets

BP 156 for eight wickets (Ulfat Rasool 74 not out; Raees Ahmed 3-23)

HOM 159 for two wickets (Sarfaraz Khan 75 not out, Mubarak Khan 33).
