KARACHI, March 28: City Nazim Niamatullah Khan inaugurated the new lift of the central building of Abbasi Shaheed Hospital on Monday.
The lift, purchased for Rs2.8m, would greatly facilitate the patients of the Children Emergency Ward on the fourth floor.
Addressing the gathering at the inaugural ceremony, Niamatullah Khan asked the hospital management to ensure availability of doctors and paramedics during their duty hours so that patients could be provided better healthcare facilities.
