KARACHI, March 28: Five ships carrying DAP fertilizer, steel coils and containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves slow where only three ships, Luo Qing, to unload and load general cargo, Johar to offload crude oil and Bunga Kenan to offload and load containers were berthed.

Only one ship, Badulu Valley departed on Monday, while Johar, Eradom Junior and Ever Gather are due to sail out on Tuesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 69,600 tons comprising 14,154 tons of export cargo including 3,319 tons of rice and 55,446 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Ever Gather, Oranje, and APL Pusan, with containers, Pontoklydon, with 27,600 tons of DAP fertilizer and Sea Baisen, with 8,103 tons of steel coils.
