Transporters, traders ‘support’ MMA’s strike
LAHORE, March 27: The MMA claims that local bodies of traders and transporters have announced their support for its April 2 wheel-jam and shutter-down strike. A press release of the alliance issued on Sunday says a joint meeting of representatives of various markets and transporters, including Circular Road, Akbari Mandi, Brandreth Road, Rang Mahal, Shah Alam Market, Anar-kali, The Mall, Liberty, Ichhra, Badami Bagh and Chungi Amar Sidhu, have assured the MMA leadership of their full support.
