Bahutule to lead India ‘A’ against Pakistan


HYDERABAD, March 26: Leg spinner Sairaj Bahutule will lead India ‘A’ in place of batsman Dinesh Mongia in one-day warm-up Cricket match against Pakistan at Visakha Stadium on outskirts of Hyderabad On March 30.

Mongia and allrounder J.P. Yadav will be representing their respective teams in Ranji Trophy final and so they have been replaced by batsman A.T. Rayudu and Sanjib Sanyal in 14-member team, Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) said. Bahutule was in original team named earlier.

Both teams are expected to arrive here on March 29 and arrangments are in full swing to host first international event at newly built stadium, Hyderabad Cricket Association secretary Shivlal Yadav said.

The match, considered to be a warm up match ahead of one-day Series will provide opportunity for youngsters to show their skills while Pakistan players will be using it as a transit between longer and shorter versions of the game.—PPI
