Pir Sabir Shah injured in road accident

PESHAWAR, March 26: The chief of the organizing committee of the NWFP chapter of the PML-N, Pir Sabir Shah, was seriously injured in a road accident at Hassan Pur Ghazi, Haripur district, on Saturday. PML-N sources said that Mr Shah, former NWFP chief minister, was returning to Siri Kot, his hometown in Haripur district, from Peshawar when the accident occurred. He had come to Peshawar to take part in his party’s protest demonstration against price hike. He was rushed to the tehsil headquarters hospital of Ghazi from where he would be shifted to Peshawar. His bodyguard and driver also received major injuries.
