VEHARI, March 26: The boundary wall of the newly constructed central jail collapsed during rain a couple of days ago.Reports said 90 per cent work on 35-acre jail building costing Rs230 million had been completed while 60 per cent boundary wall caved in. The wall is said to be 1,000-feet long and 10-feet high. When contacted, the contractor was not available. However, a buildings department expert said the contractor allegedly used substandard construction material.
