NAWABSHAH, March 26: The city president of the People’s Party Parliamentarians, Dost Ali Rind, and party activist Aamir Malik surrendered themselves at the A-section police station.They were nominated in FIR registered by Ameer Ali Chandio, the reporter of a Sindhi daily Kawish, for attacking him. Earlier, journalists of the district took out a procession against an inordinate delay in the arrest of attackers of Mr Chandio. The activists of different political parties including Syed Munir Shah, Nisar Keerio, Ghani Rind, Syed Mehdi Shah, Mustafa Korai and Sattar Jamali joined the journalists protest. They observed a token hunger strike outside the Nawabshah press club.

Later, the acting president of the PPP Nawabshah district, Ghulam Qadir Chandio, Taluka Nazim Ali Akbar Jamali and PPP taluka president Bagh Ali Shah also joined the token hunger strike. They condemned the incident and assured that action would be taken against the involved persons.
