The governor directed the Board of Revenue to expeditiously complete the mutation process in respect of 9,512 acres of land in favour of the Malir Development Authority (MDA). He said the pieces of land, whose lease had expired, should also be transferred to the MDA so that work on scheme could be completed as per programme. The governor also stressed on finalization of necessary action for balloting of 120 sq-yd plots. The number of plots of 80 and 120 sq-yd had been increased on the governor’s directive so that low income people could benefit from it.
