LAHORE: BA, BSc examination begins

LAHORE, March 26: As many as 143,058 candidates are appearing in the BA/BSc, First Annual Examination-2005, which commenced on Saturday. Punjab University Examination Controller Prof Dr Ahsan Malik, talking to APP here on Saturday said that 466 examination centres had been set up, including the six in various jails, which would be monitored by 12 mobile teams. He said for the BA examinations, 43,565 males and 79,229 female candidates were appearing, while for BSc, 11,314 boys and 8,950 girls were appearing.—APP
