ISLAMABAD, March 26: The government has signed a number of protocols with China for export of oranges and rice, and exchange of research information between the two countries. This was stated by Secretary Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock (Minfal) Ismail Qureshi while speaking at the concluding session of a workshop here on Saturday. The workshop on “Restructuring of agriculture research system” was organized by the Pakistan Agriculture Research Council (PARC) in collaboration with Minfal, and attended by government officials, researchers, scientists and progressive farmers from across the country. Mr Qureshi said the government was committed to giving a boost to the agriculture sector.
