PESHAWAR, March 22: Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal has invited all political parties to participate in the million march to be held in Peshawar on March 28. Speaking at a press conference here on Tuesday MMA spokesman Mufti Kifayatullah said the leaders of the MMA would soon extend invitation to the political forces to attend the million march.

Claiming that over two million workers of the MMA would take part in the protest rally, the spokesman said the main rally would be held on the G.T. Road, Peshawar, where leaders of the MMA would address the participants. Whether the NWFP Chief Minister, Akram Khan Durrani, would take part in the anti-Musharraf rally or not had not been decided yet, Mufti Kifayatullah said.

Giving details of the programme, he said workers would receive the MMA leaders at Hassan Abdal and then they would proceed towards Peshawar in a procession. Criticizing the statement of the federal Minister for Information, Shiekh Rashid Ahmad, he said the MMA march in Karachi had created panic among the rulers. The spokesman said no power could break the religious parties? alliance.
