KARACHI, March 22: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chief Imran Khan on Tuesday urged the masses and all democratic, patriotic political parties to get united in order to get rid of rulers, who were exploiting the nation for last 57 years.

Speaking to PTI office-bearers at provincial secretariat of the party, he said that people should wage Jehad against uniform, terrorism, unemployment, lawlessness, cruelties, lack of protection, human rights violations and price hike.

Imran Khan said that the participation of millions of people in Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal march on Sunday was a ray of hope for revolutionary people and expressed hope that if the movement against dictatorship continued, foreign-supported elements ruling over Pakistan would have to leave the country soon.

Felicitating PTI workers for participating in the “million march” in overwhelming numbers, he urged PTI Sindh chief Mirza Jahangir Rahman to make all out efforts to make the strike scheduled for April 2 successful.

He stressed the need for constituting a committee to hold talks with transporters, traders and market associations so that people could get united and initiate joint struggle for restoration of real democracy.—PPI
