LAHORE, March 21: The first day of the All-Pakistan garrison golf championships washed out due to heavy
downpour in the city on Monday.
The three-day event, in which more than 190 professionals, amateurs, veterans , ladies and seniors are competing, being held at the Lahore Garrison course, has now been reduced to two days.
The heavy rain started in the morning and lasted till 11 am and then continued with regular intervals throughout the day, turning the major part of the course into pool of water.
Play will start on Tuesday if it does not rain, a spokesman of the club said.
