SUKKUR, March 20: Seventeen bodies have so far been recovered from the debris of a temple in Dera Bugti which collapsed after it was hit during March 17 shellings.

This was stated by the president of Hindu Panchayat, Kashmore Mr Mukhi Rano Mal, while talking to journalists on Saturday. He said that more bodies were still in the debris and efforts were under way to dig them out.

He added that 15 people, who had been seriously injured in the incident, had been taken to a hospital in Rahim Yar Khan by volunteers of the Hindu Panchayat.

According to him, the volunteers were sent to Dera Bugti from Kashmore.
