First round ties decided

ISLAMABAD, March 16: All the eight first round matches were decided on the opening day of National women’s squash championship at POF Wah Squash Complex on Wednesday.The championship, a part of World Squash Day celebrations, carries a prize purse of Rs75,000. Top 16 women players from all over the country turned up on the opening day which would have its Saturday’s final dedicated to the WSF campaign to get squash included in the Olympics 2012. The quarterfinals will be played on Thursday.
