ISLAMABAD, March 15: Norwegian telecom operator Telenor launched a mobile telephone service in Pakistan on Tuesday, becoming the fifth entrant to the country’s thriving but fiercely competitive cellular market. President Pervez Musharraf launched the new service with a call to Norwegian Prime Minister Kjell Magne Bondevik, who was in Sydney, Australia.
