LAHORE, March 15: An accountability court on Tuesday allowed PPP Secretary-General Jehangir Badr to go abroad for 10 days.
The court adjourned untill March 25 further proceedings on two references against the PPP leader with the direction that he should return home to join trial by then.
Mr Badr, a former federal minister, had requested the court to allow him a visit abroad for treatment for a month.
He is facing charges of illegal appointments and making assets beyond the known sources of his income during the period he was a member
of the federal cabinet during the first Benazir Bhutto government.
