ANP chief meets Fahim
ISLAMABAD, March 15: President of the Awami National Party (ANP) Asfandyar Wali Khan on Tuesday held a meeting with the Alliance for the Restoration of Democracy (ARD) Chairman Makhdoom Amin Fahim and discussed with him the prevailing political situation in the country.
Sources told Dawn that Mr Khan informed Mr Fahim about the party’s reservations about joining the ARD. They said the ANP chief wanted some assurances from the ARD on the issue of provincial autonomy. Mr Khan told Mr Fahim that the party would soon make a decision regarding joining of the ARD or otherwise, they added.
