NAWABSHAH, March 15: District Nazim Faryal Talpur inaugurated diamond jubilee celebrations of the Government Girls High School, Nawabshah, on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, she announced a grant of Rs3.1 million for renovation of the school.

The celebrations will continue till March 19.

Meanwhile, the nazim inaugurated a four-week leadership training programme for headmasters/headmistresses of schools at the Provincial Institute of Teachers Education here on Monday.

Briefing the district nazim about the programme, coordinator and director of the PITE Mushtaq Ahmed Shahani said that 2,000 heads of schools would be trained in school administration, academic supervision, financial management and information technology in Sindh.
