According to an official announcement issued here on Tuesday, the Sixth Schedule has been amended with the approval of the federal government and, accordingly, allows the SECP to supply information compiled in Corporate Registration and Compliance System (CRCS) on nominal charges.
The CRCS is an automated intranet system that gathers corporate information as disclosed and submitted by companies through various statutory returns filed with the concerned registrars.
The fee for providing list of companies would be calculated and charged at the rate of Rs2 per data field, subject to a minimum fee of Rs500. The company profile shall be provided at a fixed charge of Rs100.
The CRCS serves as a premier search tool for accessing public corporate information on various aspects. The information can now be generated on multiple criteria and can be provided to public either on a floppy disk, compact diskette, as a hard copy or can be sent through e-mail depending on the volume of information.
Interested persons can obtain the data and information through an application to the concerned Company Registration Office (CRO).
