KARACHI, March 15: Six ships carrying general cargo, containers, scrap and to load molasses are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where seven ships, Thor Captain, Tai He, Kota Indah, Asian Trader to unload and load containers, Gen Clipper, Chembulk Fortitude to load molasses and Caronnet to offload palm oil were berthed after the departure of three.

The ships, which departed included Lake Aru, Rainbow and Nifayia, while Chembulk Fortitude, Asian Trader and Thor Captain are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 78,409 tons comprising 20,198 tons of export cargo including 6,971 tons of rice and 58,211 tons of import cargo was handled.

The following ships are due to arrive on Wednesday: Khalid, with general cargo, Falcon Trident, with iron scrap, Hannibal-2, to load 23,000 tons of molasses, Hyundai Stride, Canmar Fortune, with containers and Johar, with crude oil.
