PESHAWAR, March 13: The NWFP Chief Minister, Mr Akram Khan Durrani, has said that people delaying completion of welfare schemes would be dealt with sternly.

He said he would not tolerate negligence in this respect, according to a handout.

The chief minister was presiding over a meeting held at the Frontier House on Saturday to review PSDP schemes.

Mr Durrani said the government could not afford to disappoint people who had been expressing dissatisfaction over delay in these schemes.

?People have enormous expectations from us. The government does not want to disappoint them,? the chief minister said. He directed officials to increase pace of developmental work.
