7 Guantanamo prisoners arrive


RAWALPINDI, March 13: Seven Pakistani prisoners released from Guantanamo Bay prison camp, Cuba, arrived in Islamabad in the early hours of Sunday, official sources said.

The seven Pakistani prisoners were straightaway driven to Adiala jail amid tight security where they will be detained for three months under 3MPO.

The prisoners were identified as Abdul Rehman, resident of Quetta; Mohammad Shafi from Karachi, Mohammad Afzal, Solemna Musafar, Ghulam Hussain, Abdul Ghanim, residents of Gwadar; and Liaquat Ali from Balochistan. The seven prisoners had been arrested on suspicion of having links with Al-Qaeda.— Staff Reporter
