ISLAMABAD, March 13: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz said on Sunday that Pakistan had greatly benefited from being a part of the Commonwealth network and it would continue to do so.

In a message on the Commonwealth Day falling on Monday, he said the Commonwealth is a modern, vibrant network of people who, through their knowledge and expertise, help each other to grow.

Following is the text of the message:

?Today, we celebrate Pakistan?s membership of the Commonwealth family of nations. We celebrate our shared values, our commitment to peace, democracy and human rights and our determination to cooperate with each other in a spirit of solidarity.

This year in particular we also recognize the crucial role education plays in building strong communities, generating growth and creating opportunities for all Commonwealth people.?APP
