LONDON, March 11: World oil prices rose on Friday in response to an increase in the International Energy Agency’s forecasts for global demand in 2005, dealers said.
New York’s main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in April, gained 56 cents to $54.10 a barrel in early deals.
In London, the price of Brent North Sea crude oil for delivery in April added 45 cents to $53.11.—AFP
