Two killed in F B Area

KARACHI, March 10: Two persons were killed at the residence of their friend in F B Area.

Umair, a resident of Garden and Naveed a resident of North Karachi, visited the residence of their friend Asim. Police said Naveed, 20, shot himself in the temple. The bullet pierced through his head and hit Umair, 19, who was reportedly sitting next to him. Police said Naveed apparently committed suicide.

Asim took the two to JPMC where the two were pronounced dead on arrival.

Police took Asim into custody and are investigating the case. Police have also recovered pistol from the place of the incident.

Police said that motive behind the killing could not be immediately known.

Body found: Body of an unknown man was recovered from Jamshed Quarters police limits on Thursday.

Police said the victim was identified as Mohammad Husain, 32. The body was recovered near Teen Hati. Police shifted the body to Civil Hospital for postmortem.

DACOITY: Armed men took away jewellery worth Rs 250,000 and Rs 20,000 cash from Rizvia Market on Thursday.

Three armed suspects barged into the Nadeem Jewelers and took away the valuables. Sarafa bazaar remained closed in protest against the dacoity.
