Wapda face HEC Blues in final
ISLAMABAD, March 6: Wapda and HEC Blues reached the final of National women's basketball championship at Naval Complex courts on Sunday.
In the first semifinal, Wapda beat Islamabad 52-14 while in the second pre-final Higher Education Commission (Blues) thrashed Punjab 54-8. The final will be played at 5:30 pm on Monday.
In the three preliminary round matches in the morning, Punjab beat Islamabad 26-23, HEC Reds defeated Balochistan 34-4 and Wapda downed NWFP 64-20.
Eight teams competed in the three-day championship, the four provinces, Islamabad, Wapda and two outfits of HEC.-APP
