This was stated by Japanese Ambassador Nobuaki Tanaka while talking to Sindh Chief Minister Arbab Rahim at the CM's House here on Saturday. He was accompanied by Japanese Consul-General Shoichi Nakano.

Mr Tanaka said that the delegation would examine the possibilities of investment in Sindh, particularly in Karachi. Besides, it would study the projects of bilateral interests.

The chief minister informed them that an investment cell had been established at CM's House to promote and encourage investment in the province. He said that foreigners were showing interest in making investments here in the country which reflected continuous efforts of government to maintain law and order.

In this regard, he referred to police reforms and said that they were being provided modern training, equipment and facilities. He said that secret cameras had been installed at various points to keep a vigil on criminals and their activities. He said terrorism had been rooted out and significant successes had been achieved on this count. -APP
