SIALKOT, Feb 23: The Sabzpir police on Wednesday registered a case against its Inspector Husnain Raza for releasing two alleged bootleggers, Ikram and Maqsood, after extorting bribe from them.

Police have arrested them along with 200 bottles of liquor but Inspector Raza freed them. No arrest has so far been made.

IMPOSTOR HELD: A local court sent on Wednesday an impostor on three day remand. Police said accused Jehangir, a close friend of Inspector Chaudhry Ramzan, used to introduce himself as SHO of Head Marala police station and extort money from people threatening them with implicating them criminal cases.

Local people brought the situation into the notice of Sialkot DPO who ordered the Head Marala police to immediately arrest the accused.
