LUCKNOW, Feb 21: Indian authorities clamped a curfew in Lucknow a day after three men were killed and 13 injured as Shia and Sunni communities clashed during a religious procession.
Rival groups threw stones and shot at each other while vehicles and shops were set on fire in the dispute over the route of the Shia process pm.
"Things are totally under control but we are maintaining a strict vigil in the areas where the clash took place," district administrator Shukla said. -Reuters
