HARIPUR, Feb 18: Four people, including a woman, were killed and 11 injured when an overloaded pick-up fell from a bridge on the Chappar road, some 21 km from here.

Saddar police, quoting eye witnesses, said that the Pind Hasham Khan-bound pick-up was carrying 25 passengers. It fell into a ravine near Golia Maira village killing four passengers. The cause of the accident was said to be overloading and high speed.

The injured and the bodies were brought to the DHQ hospital here. Later, three seriously injured passengers were shifted to the Ayub Medical Complex in Abbottabad. Three of the deceased have been identified as Ms Maroof Jan, Abdul Waheed, Shabbir Hussain. The identity of the fourth victim, a minor boy, could not be ascertained.
