Departments violate PCB's instructions

By Our Sports Correspondent

LAHORE, Feb 14: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)'s instructions to the departments not to allow those cricketers, who returned home recently after completing the Australian tour, to play in the ongoing Patron's Trophy, has been violated.

National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has included wicket-keeper/batsman Kamran Akmal in the match which started against Sui Gas at Sheikhupura Stadium. Similarly, Sui Gas had opener Muhammad Hafeez in their ranks.

HBL have included Younis Khan, who played some matches of the VB tri-nation One-day series but returned midway due to the death of his father. The PCB Chairman, Shaharyar M Khan had categorically issued instructions before the national press on Saturday.
