Naib Nazim Ayaz Khan of Hoti union council, Zahir Khan of Muhib Banda, Kabul Khan of Mayar and Haji Ferozdeen of Mardan Khas alleged that Mr Biland allocated about Rs9.8 million from the budget for use in the local bodies elections.

They also alleged that he had allocated Rs5 million in his own constituency, where he was planning to field his supporters in the local government election. They said that the nazim was ignoring other union councils in allocation of funds.

They alleged that the nazim kept tenders secret and now he was holding an emergency meeting of the tehsil coucil for sanctioning budget for specific schemes.

The naib nazims have filed a suit in the court of Senior Civil Judge Muneera Abbassi and sought a stay order. The judge has sought the record about development projects in various union councils.
