KARACHI, Feb 13: Sindh Minister for Information Technology Syed Mustafa Kamal has said that the IT revolution and implementation of compulsory IT education in schools had a positive impact on the society.

He was talking to a delegation of the British Computer Society London (BCSL) headed by its President Graham E Morris, which called on the minister at his new secretariat office.

The delegation informed that the BCSL would establish institutes to promote IT education in Pakistan. The delegation also proposed establishment of British based educational institutes in Sindh and other parts of the country. It was proposed that the BCSL is also interested in establishing schools, colleges and universities along with IT institutes.

In order to provide these educational facilities, the delegation required cooperation from the provincial governments. It may be mentioned here that London based degrees would be issued by these institutes. -PPI
