The meeting, presided over by PSF president, Air Chief Marshal Kaleem Saadat discussed the proposed calendar for the current year.

The calendar includes five national junior tournaments for boys and girls, three events for women, a team championship, four $25,000 international competitions and one offering a prize purse of $12,000. There will also be two national open events.

The Pakistan contingent is also due to take part in the Qatar International Junior tournament this month and the 4th Women's Islamic Games in September.

The house reviewed progress on the construction and renovation of squash courts at various centres.

It was decided that the federation will undertake the responsibility of constructing an international standard court besides renovating three existing ones at the National Sports Training and Coaching Centre in Karachi.

The Mushaf Squash Complex in Islamabad will be extended while renovation of existing infrastructure at the Liaquat Bagh Sports Complex along with construction of a championship court will also be done. An MoU in this regard is already under process, the release said.
