Pakistan hails ME ceasefire
ISLAMABAD, Feb 9: Pakistan on Wednesday welcomed the Palestinian-Israeli ceasefire deal and described it as a good beginning towards a lasting Middle East settlement.
"This step should prove to be a good beginning towards restarting the stalled Middle East peace process through renewed and earnest engagements," foreign ministry spokesman Masood Khan told AFP.
"We hope this ceasefire will endure and create space for peace. The cycle of atrocities and violence must come to an end," Mr Khan said.-AFP
