Afghan plane's wreckage found

BAND-E-GHAZI, Feb 5: Dutch military helicopters on Saturday found the wreckage of an Afghan passenger jet that crashed in a snow storm near the capital Kabul two days ago, killing all 104 people on board.

The crew of the Apache helicopters spotted the tail end of the Boeing 737 plane and other debris strewn across snow-covered mountains above the village of Band-e Ghazi, some 30 km southeast of Kabul, NATO-led peacekeepers said.

"There are no survivors from the crash," a Defence Ministry spokesman said.-Reuters
