Next exhibition to include services

KARACHI, Feb 5: Senate Chairman Mohammadmian Soomro on Saturday said that next Expo Pakistan would also include display of services, including banks to facilitate joint ventures. He was talking to reporters during his visit to Expo Pakistan 2005 at the Karachi Expo Centre.

He said that new ideas had been derived from this mega exhibition. "This time only products were on display, next time services will also be offered at the show."

Mr Soomro said that exhibitions would also be held in other cities. Appreciating the quality of products at the stalls, he said that Pakistan was producing high quality goods.

Leader of Treasury benches in the Senate, Waseem Sajjad also visited the Expo Pakistan and appreciated the quality of products.

A South Korean business delegation led by Ambassador Jeon Bou-Gjuan also visited the expo and showed keen interest in leather products, engineering goods and rice and joint ventures in pharmaceutical.

A Saarc delegation also visited stalls at the Expo Pakistan.-APP
